In 2018, Pope served as Senior Sales Director for Infiniti North America, where he oversaw sales, supply chain, after-sales, qualified used cars, user experience and training.
Mario Murgado, chairman of the Infiniti American Dealer Advisory Committee, said that Pope has been working in Hong Kong for a while and is very familiar with Infiniti’s internal workings, so he can get started quickly with new positions and jobs. ”
The 49-year-old Jeff Pope has been working in Infiniti for 13 years and has a lot of experience. Since 2006, he has held a number of positions at Infiniti, including senior director of global sales.
In 2018, Infiniti’s sales in the US market lost to BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Lexus, and total sales fell by 2.7%, while luxury car sales in the US market fell by 0.4%. Infiniti sold 34,315 vehicles in the United States in the first quarter of 2019, a drop of 16%.
Infiniti’s sales in the US market account for 70% of its global sales. Infiniti will face even greater challenges in regaining market share in the highly competitive luxury car market.
