Jaguar Land Rover UK recalls 44,000 vehicles with carbon emissions exceeding expectations

Jaguar Land Rover said in a statement: “In the production consistency (CoP) test, some vehicles’ carbon dioxide emissions levels did not meet expectations and are currently being corrected.”

The vehicles affected by the recall are mainly some 2.0-liter diesel and petrol vehicles produced between 2016 and 2019, including Land Rover Discovery, Discovery, Land Rover Range Rover Sport, Star Pulse and Range Rover Aurora, and Jaguar XE, XF, F There are 10 models in the -Pace, E-Pace and F-Type.

The recall was made by the British consumer organization, Which? After launching, Jaguar Land Rover reported the situation to the British Traffic Management Department, the Drivers and Vehicles Standards Authority (DVSA), which handles the recall. The European Commission has also given relevant instructions.

Neville Barlow, head of vehicle engineering at DVSA, said: “The primary task of DVSA is to protect the public from dangerous drivers and vehicles.
