The vehicles affected by the recall are mainly some 2.0-liter diesel and petrol vehicles produced between 2016 and 2019, including Land Rover Discovery, Discovery, Land Rover Range Rover Sport, Star Pulse and Range Rover Aurora, and Jaguar XE, XF, F There are 10 models in the -Pace, E-Pace and F-Type.
The recall was made by the British consumer organization, Which? After launching, Jaguar Land Rover reported the situation to the British Traffic Management Department, the Drivers and Vehicles Standards Authority (DVSA), which handles the recall.
