Save the flames of danger, Subaru recalled 640,000 vehicles worldwide

Subaru will first recall about 229,000 vehicles in the United States, including the Outback and the Legacy. Relevant government documents show that the problem is that the software failure causes the fuel level low warning light to fail and the display of the mileage to be inaccurate. This can cause the vehicle to run out of fuel and the car to stall, which in turn increases the risk of a crash.

Another recall involved the world’s 2012-2014 Subaru Impreza, the 2013 BRZ, XV Crosstrek and Toyota Scion FR-S. The number of recalls was 411,000. The reason for the recall was due to the risk of breakage of the engine valve springs of the car, which could lead to engine failure or flameout. For this reason, the dealer indicated that the car will be replaced by the owner.

Subaru said that in the two vehicle recalls, the owners will be notified in December. During the first recall, the dealer will reprogram the software. Subaru stated that there are no reports of casualties about the two car failures.
