Anchersen’s chief operating officer said that the choice of BYD was made after a thorough analysis, because the analysis showed that BYD can fully meet the needs of operating electric buses in Copenhagen. He also said that their goal is to make electric buses as reliable as current diesel buses.

The bus route runs through Copenhagen to the north and south, and the charging station is located in the southwestern suburb of Copenhagen. The Copenhagen government has announced that the city will only purchase electric buses from 2025.

It is reported that BYD pure electric bus has entered more than 70 cities in more than 20 countries in Europe, ranking first in the market share of pure electric vehicle bus.
