FCA plans to produce an Alfa Romeo compact SUV at its Pomigliano plant in Italy, and plans to produce the electric Fiat 500 at the Mirafiori plant in Turin, Italy. This is the latest statement issued by the FCA after the meeting with the union on the 29th.

FCA’s third plan is to start production of the Jeep Guide SUV at the Melfi plant in central Italy. From January to October this year, the Jeep brand’s deliveries in Europe surged by 61%, while the overall delivery volume in the region fell by 2%. Fiat said it will ensure the operation of all Italian factories.

It is reported that FCA’s latest financial report in the third quarter shows that pre-tax profit in North America accounted for 97% of the group’s total profit. FCA therefore plans to balance its business and plans to produce 13 new and redesigned models at its Italian plant.
