The Lamborghini mixed supercar will be unveiled at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show

[Global Network Comprehensive Report] According to the Australian media on February 18th, the highly anticipated Lamborghini hybrid supercar will be unveiled at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, with a limited edition of 63 units worldwide, which will be priced at $2.5 million and is now fully booked. The new car is currently codenamed LB48H.

Inspired by the Terzo Millenio concept car, the LB48H is powered by a motor-driven front axle that is powered by Lamborghini’s classic 6.5-liter V12 engine that drives the rear wheels. It is reported that the car’s maximum output power is 625 kW.

To commemorate the establishment of the company in 1963, the new car is limited to 63 units and is now fully booked. The price of each car will be $2.5 million.

In addition to the new car hybrid, the new generation Aventador will also usher in a hybrid system, but it is expected to be released later than the original 2020. Federico Foschini, chief commercial officer of Lamborghini, said: “The new generation of Aventador may be listed later, and the current car has achieved great success in the market. For example, Aventador SVJ was pre-sold three to four weeks in advance.”

One drawback of electrification is that electric parts add an extra weight of about 200 kilograms to the sports car. Therefore, the new car uses carbon fiber material as much as possible to reduce the overall weight, but the weight of the new generation Aventador is expected to be heavier than the current model.

Foschini said that Lamborghini also has a model to be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which is considered a “surprise”. It is believed that it is likely to be a plug-in hybrid version of Urus.
